History

GS-Macon, owner G. Schneider, was founded in April 2020 as a sole proprietorship in the Swiss canton of Appenzell. However, the business idea already came into being in 2012 after more than 30 years of experience in plant Engineering and hundreds of conversations with potential customers and partners.

I was often asked: "You have so much experience in Engineering, in international project management and in sales! "Why don't you start your own business?"

No sooner said than done - the founding of company limited, at that time mainly for customers in Asia, was quickly registered and we offered various services for steel plants.

One of our first customers was a North German company that had specialized in measuring geometric sizes using laser triangulation and the light section method, and for which we took on acquisition and sales tasks in Southeast Asia.

Other customers such as the German hmp - Heinrich Müller Pforzheim, the MWE Magedeburg, Friedrich Vollmer Feinmeßgerätebau GmbH, the Spanish company Salico, the Italian companies CEG SRL and EM Molds as well as the Swiss company SMS Concast AG (SMS group), quickly followed. Due to our contacts in Southeast Asia, we also performed in the areas of quality assurance, Projet Management and Service for end customers.

Marketing and Sales

Sales of equipment and machines for the production and processing of steel and copper products  as well as measuring systems

- Development of unique selling points and analysis of competitiveness

- Creation of layouts and technical specifications, presentation to the customer

- Advising investors on the optimal investment

International commercial and technical Project Management

Here too, as the owner of GS-Macon, I can look back on many successful years in the management of plant projects, complex technological modernizations and in the plant planning of large turnkey plants and complete factories.

Project Management service:

Here we specialize in steel and rolling mills, factories for the production of building and concrete elements, projects in thermal process engineering such as heat treatment furnaces, vacuum melting furnaces and similar plants.
